Yuping Wang

Yupingd her B.S. in engineering mechanics from Tsinghua University, one of the most prestigious universities in China, then came to the US in 2000 where she obtained a PhD in Civil Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
Yuping then moved to Rhode Island in 2003 and joined Dassault System as a software engineer. She eventually advanced to being a Principal Software Engineer and then to successfully managing a workforce of hundreds of software engineers, product managers and UX designers spread across the globe. She has more than two decades of experience in full-stack software and cloud service development.
In 2019 she left Dassault System and joined Amazon Robotics to work more closely with engineering, where she managed a smaller team. She was responsible for software services in robotic movement subsystems used to automate and optimize Amazon’s fulfillment processes, and her team played a significant role in Amazon’s ability to start offering one-day shipping.
Yuping is currently co-founder of Ohanga and advisor to Innovative Numerics product initiatives and a consulting partner.
